Peak 10 Enables Hybrid IT In 100% of Its Data Centers

National leader in IT solutions joins forces with global communications provider to extend enterprise-class connectivity options

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--()--Peak 10, a national IT infrastructure, connectivity and cloud services provider, today announced the full availability of Level 3 network services across all 16 of the company’s data centers, which encompass nearly 860,000 square feet of floor space across 10 U.S. markets. The relationship with Level 3 extends Peak 10’s rich set of connectivity options which enable customers to manage their hybrid IT infrastructure - supporting operations for mission-critical workloads, applications and data.

With direct network access to Amazon Web Services®, Microsoft® Azure1 and others, Peak 10’s connectivity options provide scalable, dedicated connectivity to hyperscale clouds. The availability of Level 3 services offers dedicated, secure, global WAN connectivity for Peak 10’s base of more than 2,200 customers, spanning a broad range of industries such as healthcare, financial services, manufacturing and retail.

“Our two companies have a long and successful relationship, and we are excited that Level 3 has chosen to offer their network services to our customers in every single Peak 10 data center facility,” said Mike Fuhrman, Chief Technology Officer at Peak 10. “When an enterprise is transitioning to a hybrid IT strategy, it is critical that they have access to connectivity options that can serve the full scope of their diverse IT operations. We pride ourselves on offering a rich set of network options for customers, and we are thrilled to have a strong provider in Level 3.”

Although every Peak 10 data center has multiple carrier options in it, the only carrier that sits in all of Peak 10’s data centers is Level 3. This network gives Peak 10 customers the opportunity to reach more than 500 markets, spanning three continents and more than 60 countries. What’s more, Level 3 customers can be in any of Peak 10’s data centers and will not need to switch providers. As enterprises transition from legacy services to more efficient, scalable and secure technologies, Level 3 and Peak 10 now offer enhanced network capabilities and managed services for customers to streamline operations and focus growth.
