Bluedrop named Business of the Year by the Halifax Chamber of Commerce

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia--()--Bluedrop Performance Learning (“Bluedrop”) (TSX-V: BPL) announced today that its subsidiary, Bluedrop Training & Simulation Inc., has been named Business of the Year by the Halifax Chamber of Commerce. The announcement was made during an award ceremony Thursday, January 26th, 2017, held at the Marriott Harbourfront in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Halifax Business Awards gala event boasts a spectacular night of entertainment while recognizing Halifax’s risk takers and their success. Eva Martinez, Senior Director of Business Development, accepted the award on behalf of Bluedrop.

Bluedrop was cited by the Profit 500 list for posting over 500% growth in the past 5 years. Its Halifax based subsidiary, Bluedrop Training and Simulation, has grown from a handful of employees just five years ago, to approximately 110 employees today. Martinez said, “We are so proud of the leading-edge innovation that we are able to deliver from Halifax.
