CAPG Statement on Nominations of Rep. Tom Price as HHS Secretary and Seema Verma as CMS Administrator

“CAPG looks forward to working with Dr. Tom Price in the role of Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. With his background as a practicing physician and his experience in state and federal government, he brings the expertise and knowledge needed to advance the U.S. healthcare system.

“President-Elect Trump also announced the selection of Seema Verma to head up the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). We look forward to collaborating with Ms. Verma to continue advancing Medicare and Medicaid to meet the challenges of the future.
