Catchpoint Announces Certification Credits, Along with New Speakers and Sponsors, for First User Event

Accepting Early Bird Registrations for April 10-13 Las Vegas Event Featuring Speakers from About.com, Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn and Others

NEW YORK--()--Catchpoint®, a leading digital experience intelligence company, has announced that they will be offering certification credits at their inaugural user conference, Elevate, which will be held Monday, April 10 through Thursday, April 13, 2017, at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. New speakers have also been added to the conference agenda, including Martin Check, Principal Software Engineer and Site Reliability Engineer at Microsoft; and Matthew Landolf, Manager of Hosting Operations and Sreejith Chelanchery, QA Manager at About.com. Verizon Digital Media Services and Instart Logic, two leaders in online content delivery, have also signed on as sponsors.

“We’re pleased that Elevate is gaining strong momentum,” says Mehdi Daoudi, CEO and co-founder of Catchpoint. “We expect these new roster additions will contribute significantly to the quality and depth of the program, where hands-on, real-world experiences ‘from the trenches’ will be an important educational component.”

As the only user conference dedicated to Digital Experience Monitoring, Elevate attendees will experience hands-on training with Catchpoint’s products, as well learn about the latest trends and strategies in preemptive monitoring, advanced analytics, ecosystem management and more. With nearly every aspect of our lives becoming more reliant on online systems, the importance of fast, reliable end-user experiences will only grow. The complex nature of the architecture and software supporting these experiences requires a comprehensive monitoring strategy, to proactively identify and fix a growing range of problems before end users are impacted.

The initial training day on Monday, April 10 – during which attendees can earn credits towards professional certifications – will be followed by two and a half days of in-depth sessions and presentations. Speakers will include prominent performance and IT leaders from some of the world’s most recognized companies, including About.com, Microsoft, Google, LinkedIn, and Fastly. Attendees will be able to schedule one-to-one meetings with Catchpoint performance experts, as well as network with industry peers worldwide. Sponsorship packages are still available, with Verizon Digital Media Services and Instart Logic joining NS1 and OpsGenie as sponsors.

Catchpoint has issued a call for papers which is open to all attendees, due by December 19, 2016. Track themes include:

  • From Firefighting to Fire Prevention: IT operations can be exhausting due to incessant alerts (which may not be accurate), complex systems checks and potentially inconsistent third party elements. In this track, real life DevOps firefighters will share stories of their most memorable performance crises, how they solved them, and how the impact of future issues can be minimized with refined monitoring strategies.
  • Exploring and Managing the New IT Ecosystem: Between infrastructure shifting from first to third parties and cloud services, new software being built on top of old, and data undergoing a mass migration to the cloud, the IT ecosystem is changing more rapidly than ever before. This track will focus on the roles played by the different components of this ecosystem, how they can be scaled for future growth, and how Catchpoint fits into all of it.
  • The IT-Customer Experience Relationship: IT is often seen as a call center, a place to deal with complaints, fix problems, or otherwise stay out of the way. Yet regardless of your business, your future hinges on your ability to deliver consistently incredible customer experiences, and IT is a key enabler of those experiences. This track will explore the transformation of digital business, and the role IT will play in the years to come as we all strive to provide a continuously excellent customer experience.

Workshop participants will be able to earn two out of four badges (Catchpoint Fundamentals, Catchpoint Pro, Troubleshooting and Real User Focus) depending on which tracks they register to attend. These badges can be used as earned professional credits when Catchpoint launches their complete certification program in 2017.

Registration and Pricing: A full conference pass, which includes the daylong training, costs $600, rising to $750 after early bird registration ends December 21. A regular conference pass, which covers Tuesday through Thursday, costs $400 before December 21, and $500 afterwards. Catchpoint has negotiated a hotel rate of $194 per night (applicable for all nights from Sunday, April 9, through Wednesday, April 12), plus a $25 resort fee and taxes, for all attendees. To take advantage of this, you must register through Catchpoint’s registration system here.
