Cloudinary Offers SaaS Subscription Product on AWS Marketplace

Cloudinary’s Cloud-based Image and Video Management Platform Achieves Marketing and Commerce Competency

PALO ALTO, Calif.--()--Cloudinary today announced that it launching a SaaS Subscription product on AWS Marketplace, enabling customers to easily purchase Cloudinary from AWS Marketplace and pay for usage as part of their existing Amazon Web Services (AWS) bill.

“AWS Marketplace offers technology solutions that enable customers to focus on their innovative applications, rather than having to develop, manage and maintain infrastructure,” said Barry Russell, GM of Global Business Development, AWS Marketplace and Catalog Services, Amazon Web Services, Inc. “By listing their SaaS Subscription product on AWS Marketplace, Cloudinary will offer low-friction image and management tools to power customers’ businesses, which they can procure and have running in minutes.”

Built on AWS itself, Cloudinary offers a unique set of features specially customized for platforms running on AWS or using the Amazon CloudFront content delivery network (CDN). These features include migration support for private Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) buckets and Amazon S3 upload mapping to enable dynamic, on-the-fly manipulation, optimization and delivery.

Most recently, Cloudinary achieved Marketing & Commerce competency status as part of the AWS Competency Program. AWS Marketing & Commerce competency partners demonstrate technical capabilities and success in helping marketers and retail customers deliver cloud-based marketing and ecommerce solutions.

“Cloudinary has integrated several AWS products and elements as part of its end-to-end platform, providing everything developers need from storage to delivery. Our SaaS Subscription product in AWS Marketplace is a natural evolution that will enable AWS customers to easily test or procure Cloudinary for their media management needs,” said Daniel Amitai, vice president of Business Development at Cloudinary. “In addition, achieving the Marketing & Commerce competency underscores the trust we’ve built with AWS customers, and further validates the benefits and capabilities of the Cloudinary platform.”

Cloudinary’s end-to-end image and video management solution enables web and mobile app developers to deliver a superior end-user experience, speed development, reduce costs and eliminate the hassle of building and supporting a media management solution in-house, or patching together off-the-shelf solutions with limited functionality and scale. Cloudinary is designed for any company that wants to automate the entire media lifecycle, including uploading, storing, managing, manipulating and delivering images and videos. The platform enables users to eliminate all media-related R&D work, reduces manual photo and video manipulations, leverages cutting-edge image and video transformation capabilities, supports responsive design to deliver optimized images for every device and viewport, and improves end users’ experiences.
