MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--November 8, 2016--Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq: CMTL), announced today that during its first quarter of fiscal 2017, Comtech's Command & Control Technologies Group, which is part of its Government Solutions segment, received orders totaling $4.4 million to deliver advanced communication solutions for the City of Baltimore.
Pursuant to these orders, Comtech will provide critical information technology ("IT") staffing and support to various agencies within the City of Baltimore, including the Mayor's Office of Information Technology (“MOIT”), the Baltimore City Police Department, and other City Agencies.
