SEOUL, South Korea--(BUSINESS WIRE)--For two consecutive years from last year, Duckshin Housing (KOSDAQ:090410) (president Myung-hwan Kim) (www.duckshin.com), the top manufacturer of construction deck plates in Korea, participated in ‘Build Tech Asia 2016’, an international construction expo held in Singapore.
Build Tech Asia 2016, hosted by the Singapore Construction Committee, is a construction technology expo participated by over 200 companies every year that draws the attention of Asian construction markets. The expo will be held at the Singapore Expo (located within 5 km from the Changi International Airport) from Tuesday 18 to Thursday 20 October 2016.
Duckshin Housing also yielded tangible outcomes by taking part in the Singapore expo last year. During the expo, due diligence and technological consultation have been conducted by the request from local firm, and after the expo, additional consultations were made through its second visit to the site.
While yielding tangible outcomes from the last year’s expo in Singapore, Duckshin Housing aims to expand its presence at this year’s expo. It plans to actively promote the easy installation and reasonable price of the integrated decks to local engineers by showing deck plates in an approximately 9㎡ space in front of them who are unfamiliar with integrated decks.
The overseas trade team of Duckshin Housing expressed confidence over this expo, saying “Last year, we exhibited new technologies such as ecobots to increase the brand awareness of Duckshin Housing in the Singaporean market. This year, we will provide a space to experience the deck plate. In particular, our speed deck, Duckshin’s representative product, will appeal to construction firms in Southeast Asia that are not familiar with integrated deck plates.”
Meanwhile, Duckshin Housing, as a result of its efforts to pioneer new markets, won 10-million-dollar Export Tower Award last year for the first time in the industry. Since 2013 and 2014 when it won 1-million and 5-million-dollar Export Tower Award, it has maintained its remarkable growth momentum.
In the second half of this year, Duckshin Housing will take part in expo in Philippines and UAE in November, and India in December after the Singapore expo.
