NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ancelmo Lopes, a long-time healthcare executive with experience in operating room efficiency, pain medication monitoring and health plans, has been named to the board at PhyMed Healthcare Group, a physician-led and owned leader of anesthesia and pain management services.
Lopes is currently chairman of the board at Surgical Solutions, LLC, which provides support services that include technicians, disposables, instrumentation and repairs for minimally invasive procedures.
Among his previous positions, Lopes served as CEO of Ameritox, which offers laboratory services and practice management tools to help clinicians coordinate and optimize the care of chronic pain patients. He also was a senior vice president and division president of Coventry Health Care, which offers a variety of health care plans, and CEO of St. Louis Connect Care, which provided outpatient specialty medical services.
