SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Twitch, the world’s leading social video platform and community for gamers, today announced a number of attractions coming to TwitchCon 2016. This includes Dim Mak’s Steve Aoki headlining TwitchCon: The Party, the Twitch Arena for a series of esports competitions, Inclusivity City for spotlighting people and organizations working to make Twitch a better place, the TwitchQuest scavenger hunt for added adventure, a Bob Ross paint-along event, and the TwitchCon Streamer Zone Powered by Intel & Turtle Beach that lets streamers broadcast for their followers at home. Also available is the Official TwitchCon App for organizing the perfect schedule.
TwitchCon: The Party
TwitchCon: The Party was a major highlight last year and is on course to be a fan favorite again. Renowned Los Angeles-based producer/DJ Steve Aoki joins a bill that includes Darude and T-Pain, all of whom are Twitch Partner streamers with channels dedicated to their music and gaming.
“I love Twitch! It gives me the chance to connect with fans on a whole other level,” said Steve Aoki. “I game on Twitch and I stream on Twitch, so I’m pumped to get the opportunity to connect with the Twitch Community live, in-person.”
TwitchCon: The Party takes place at San Diego’s Petco Park on October 1 with doors opening at 5:30 pm. The first 1,000 attendees will receive a free slice of pizza and soft drink, sponsored by HP “Heroes of the Storm” OMEN Challenge. For more details, visit TwitchCon: The Party.
Inclusivity City
This is an area designed in partnership with AnyKey to give attendees a chance to connect with organizations that are helping to make Twitch a welcoming place for everyone. Inclusivity City will feature AnyKey, Hack Harassment, Online SOS, and I Need Diverse Games. Attendees can visit to learn about their initiatives and meet guest streamers raising awareness of their causes. Inclusivity City will also host a tournament presented by Smash Sisters, a series of women’s crew battles featuring Super Smash Bros. games. Attendees are invited to network with inclusivity agents, host their own small meetups in this welcoming space, or show support by taking a photo with one of many positive slogan placards.
TwitchCon Arena
This is where esports fans can play games against each other and watch their favorite streamers and pro gamers compete with tournaments running all three days of the show. All featured games will also be available for attendees to enjoy together in the TwitchCon Arena LAN, while fans at home can watch the action streamed live at www.twitch.tv/twitchconarena.

TwitchQuest
Attendees will be treated to a convention-long scavenger hunt that kicks off via the Offical TwitchCon App. TwitchQuest is an interactive, story-driven experience that sends players across the show floor solving riddles, meeting Twitch employees for clues, visiting various booths to play game demos, and scanning QR codes. Upon completing tasks, participants have chances to win swag, Bits, or a grand prize trip to TwitchCon 2017! Also keep an eye out for exclusive side quests with partners such as Swarm by Foursquare, Curse, and AMP Energy.
Bob Ross Paint-Along
To celebrate the magic of artist Bob Ross and his show’s role in putting Twitch Creative on the mainstream’s radar, the Bob Ross Company will be hosting a paint-along on Sunday, October 2 at 10:30 am. Pre-sale Tickets are available for $99 at www.bobross.com/twitchclass and come with a painter starter kit complete with a canvas and enough paints for multiple works. If you are not attending the show, you can still order paint kits--or use at-home supplies--and join the Bob Ross Paint-Along, as well as the other paint sessions, all weekend on the Bob Ross Twitch Channel.
