Cotton Holdings Expands Leadership Team

KATY, Texas--()--Cotton Holdings, Inc. (“Cotton” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce Jeff Erler and Keith Benton have joined the Company as General Counsel and Health, Safety and Environmental ("HSE") Director, respectively.

Jeff Erler joined Cotton in June and brings 20 years of experience advising clients, including Cotton, in a variety of legal matters. His legal work has been recognized by his peers, having been repeatedly named a “Rising Star” and then “Super Lawyer” by Texas Monthly magazine – a distinction given to less than 5% of the lawyers in Texas. He has also been selected as a “Best Lawyer in Dallas” by D Magazine. Erler will be responsible for enterprise legal matters, including risk and litigation management, corporate governance and transactions.

Keith Benton joined Cotton in May after spending 15 years as HSE Manager for BP America Production Company. Benton, a Certified Safety Professional, will be responsible for maintaining Cotton’s commitment to providing a safe, efficient and environmentally sound workplace through the development, implementation, and continual reassessment of Cotton’s HSE efforts.

Britney Smith has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Advertising. A veteran of Cotton since 2000, Smith has held various positions within the organization including Central Texas Regional Office Manager and National Sales Director. She will now manage Cotton’s corporate marketing department, promoting the Company’s multiple business lines through the implementation of new marketing initiatives.

In addition to these recently added positions, Randall Thompson has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of Cotton Holdings, Inc. Earlier this year, Thompson was appointed Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) when Co-Founder and former COO, Daryn Ebrecht, retired. In his role as COO, Thompson exercises executive oversight of day-to-day operations across all business lines of the Company.

“The growth and transformation of Cotton over the past twenty years – starting as a local restoration company in Houston, Texas, to a worldwide disaster recovery contractor and total solutions provider – is a testament to the passion for success of the Company’s leadership team and dedicated employees,” said Pete Bell, Co-Founder and CEO of Cotton Holdings. “I am confident that these key strategic hires and personnel moves will enhance our long-term competitive advantage in continuing to serve our clients' needs across all of our businesses.”
