SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BPM is pleased to announce it is now accredited as a Third Party Assessment Organization (3PAO), enabling BPM to assess Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) for compliance with Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) requirements. With this accreditation, BPM is now the only company headquartered in California that is credited to perform ISO 27001, SOC, and FedRAMP audits.
An accredited 3PAO must demonstrate independence and technical competency required to test security implementations and collect representative evidence.
“We have worked hard for this accreditation,” said Sumit Kalra, Partner in BPM’s Assurance Practice Group and Leader of its Information Technology Audit and Compliance Group (IT Assurance Group). “We have over 15 years of experience serving clients in an array of industries – this recognition confirms our expertise in handling complex infrastructure implementations.”
“Part of our commitment in providing world-class service to our clients is to help them improve their security posture,” commented BPM’s CEO Jim Wallace. “This accreditation underscores that commitment and our ability to provide outstanding service.”
BPM’s IT Assurance Group also has extensive experience producing assessments, attestations, or compliance reports based on the following standards:
- Service Organization Control (SOC) - SOC1, SOC2, and SOC3
- International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001 and 27018
- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
