MARSHFIELD, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) and Contessa Health today announce a new partnership to operate a Home Hospitalization Program for members of Security Health Plan. The Home Hospitalization Program powered by Contessa Health will allow patients to receive hospital-level care in the comfort of their homes at a prospective bundled rate.
Under guidance of Contessa Health’s clinical and administrative protocols, Marshfield Clinic physicians will be able to provide Security Health Plan members with in-home care for acute medical conditions, including:
- Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)/Pulmonary Embolism (PE)
- Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)
- Cellulitis
- Pneumonia
The Partnership’s team of care providers will deliver all necessary medical visits, lab testing and medical equipment at a prospective bundled rate for a 30-day time period.
