NOVATO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Radiant Logic, the market-leading provider of federated identity (FID) solutions based on virtualization, today announced it has joined the C3 Alliance, CyberArk’s global technology partner program that builds on the power of privileged account security to better protect customers from cyber threats. Through Radiant Logic and CyberArk product integrations, customers can benefit from a federated identity service where all critical service accounts are centrally managed and secured. The technology integration also helps to automate and secure key service accounts used by RadiantOne to virtualize and access identity data. “Having CyberArk managing the service accounts gives us the best of both worlds: Fine grained access to the source, and a secure and auditable credentialing process,” says Michel Prompt, CEO of Radiant Logic.
RadiantOne is a federated identity service that works by externalizing and unifying identity data that is stored in many heterogeneous data sources within the enterprise, creating a single, aggregated identity reference list that applications can consume to identify, authenticate, and authorize end users. In order to federate identity, RadiantOne must be given secure, privileged access to multiple enterprise identity data stores. The most recent release of RadiantOne includes an embedded framework for integrating with the CyberArk Privileged Account Security Solution.
“Radiant Logic understands the serious security vulnerabilities that exist because of unmanaged and unmonitored privileged access to sensitive systems and information,” says Adam Bosnian, executive vice president, global business development for CyberArk. “By taking proactive measures to put privileged account security at the forefront of its federated identity service, Radiant Logic provides its customers with an added layer of measurable security that reduces vulnerabilities and improves its overall security posture without impacting the user experience.”
Through this integration capability, RadiantOne can benefit from a central privileged account management service to deliver better security and governance/compliance. RadiantOne service accounts are granted only the rights they need, and all activity is tracked and audited independently from the RadiantOne administrators.
The new RadiantOne-CyberArk technology integration enables IT professionals to:
- Centrally manage credentials used by RadiantOne “service accounts” within the CyberArk Solution
- Eliminate management errors and potential security breaches associated with manual credential changes
- Maintain a comprehensive audit trail to ensure compliance
The integration allows companies to deploy a federated identity service while ensuring that a company’s most valued identity assets (e.g. employee, customer, and partner information) remain both protected and secure.
