MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Inspired Spine completed its first annual education conference designed to provide leading surgeons, researchers and other clinical professionals with the opportunity to learn more about minimally invasive spine solutions. Events included presentations, review of clinical case studies, peer-to-peer discussions, demonstrations and training. Inspired Spine is a leader in the field with its Oblique Lateral Lumbar Interbody Fusion (OLLIF) procedure which is a revolutionary change in how patients approach fusion surgery.
Dr. Hamid Abbasi, a leader in minimally invasive spinal surgery, presented to the attendees and noted, “The international and local surgeons enjoyed the cadaver labs, OR observations and events of the three days. I look forward to future events and great participation.”
Attendees learned more about a variety of minimally invasive advances and appreciated the range of topics addressed. Dr. Lynn Miller noted, “I found the conference very helpful and enjoyed that the case studies highlighted new techniques and challenging cases. We talked about all aspects of care, from diagnostic through recovery versus just the procedures.”
James Schultz, biomedical engineer and graduate student, said, “The Inspired Spine Educational Event was extremely informative and opened my eyes to the amazing recent advances in minimally invasive surgery. There is definitely an international interest in both the OLLIF and MIS-DTIF procedures, and it is evident that the minimally invasive surgery market is rapidly expanding.”
“The conference could not have been a better event, filled with important discussions on the future of improving patient care through minimally invasive solutions,” said Chris Murphy, owner of Inspired Spine. “We were proud to support this event and look forward to future conferences where we can again bring together leaders in the field.”
