Steven Klohn was appointed as Chief Technology Officer, Derrick Carpenter was named Chief Product Officer and David DiPasquale will assume the role of Chief Revenue Officer.

Steve Klohn comes to Blue Star Sports from Brinker International where he most recently served as CTO with prior experience serving in executive roles at RealPage Inc. and Intelemedia Communications Inc. For more than 23 years, Steve has been an innovative technology champion with a deep passion for growing people in their career journeys. With his strong background in technology strategies, Steve will be able to help lead Blue Star Sports’ companies with seamless systems and product integrations. “Steve joins us as our Chief Technology Officer at the perfect time, right when we’re approaching a rapid period of growth through the multiple acquisitions of technology firms,” adds Wechsler.
Derrick Carpenter will serve as Chief Product Officer for Blue Star Sports bringing 12 years experience in Product and IT related roles, with an emphasis in Payments. His most recent role was SVP of Industry Solutions and Platforms for Bank of America Merchant Services, and prior to that he served as Director of Payment Services at Walmart with focus on Prepaid, Government Benefit Programs and International Financial Services. “Derrick will play an integral role in developing product roadmaps, while maintaining our current products portfolio and introducing new innovations. To offer a unique experience to youth sports organizations, we need a product rock star, and that’s just what Carpenter is,” says Wechsler.
David DiPasquale will lead all sales and revenue channels for Blue Star Sports and all of its subsidiary companies as Chief Revenue Officer. David brings over 23 years of enterprise sales and SaaS experience, and served on executive leadership teams at Review Trackers, Fishbowl, Restaurant.com and Delivery.com. “David brings experience to Blue Star Sports that will take our sales team to the next level; by growing our customer base, and by building a strong sales strategy and top-notch sales teams,” adds Wechsler. “He is very focused and results driven, and I have full confidence in his ability to make us all a winning team - one client at a time.”
