SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kuantum Brands is announcing today that its Board of Directors has named William J. Righeimer as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Based in San Diego, Kuantum Brands (www.kuantumbrands.com) develops, manufactures and distributes functional beverages, organic and non-GMO products in the U.S. and Canada. Kuantum Brands is wholly-owned by PiSA Pharmaceuticals, the largest pharmaceutical company in Mexico and Sesajal, a leading global supplier of organic and non-GMO ingredients.

Righeimer, 46, most recently served as a President and Global General Manager for Mars, Incorporated, a $33-billion global company. He was a member of the Food leadership team and had global responsibility for organic food and drinks, healthy living consumer products, e-commerce and licensed offerings. Righeimer directly led the business units with operating responsibility for long-term strategy, sales, marketing, financial planning, product development, distribution, operations, supply chain management, human resources, IT and legal.

Righeimer is an experienced leader in the consumer packaged goods industry. Prior to Mars, he held senior roles at PwC, IBM and served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for private equity and venture backed companies. He used his general management, advisory and marketing skills to improve business performance across a diverse range of categories and channels with a focus on innovation and disciplined execution. Righeimer earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota and his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
