The module is updated using an NFC signal and is completely battery less. The energy present in the phone’s NFC signal is sufficient to update the display and the bi-stability of the display maintains the image until it is updated again.

The secondary display acts as an extension of the primary screen and can be used to constantly display important information such as maps, directions, bar codes, etc. The display can also enable personalized phone cases with images that can be changed at any time with any image present on your phone.
