NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FOX News Sunday’s Chris Wallace will conduct an exclusive sit-down interview with President Barack Obama to air this Sunday April 10th, 2016. The interview will be presented on FOX Broadcasting (check local listings) and on FOX News Channel (FNC) at 2PM/ET and 6PM/ET. This marks President Obama’s first interview on FNC since 2014 and his first appearance on FOX News Sunday since being elected President.
Taking place at the University of Chicago, the interview will cover an array of topics, including the pending Supreme Court nomination, the 2016 election and Obama’s presidential legacy. Chris Wallace previously interviewed Obama in 2009 and 2013 for FOX News Channel and in 2008 for FOX News Sunday as then-Senator Obama.
The interview with the president this month coincides with the 20-year anniversary of FOX News Sunday, which debuted with the late host Tony Snow on FOX Broadcasting on April 28th, 1996. With more than 50 years of broadcast experience, current host Chris Wallace, has anchored the show for 12 years and most recently co-moderated the three FNC debates, alongside Bret Baier and Megyn Kelly. The August 6th debate, with 24 million viewers, was the most-watched non-sports cable telecast of all time. According to Nielsen Media Research, FOX News Sunday is delivering its highest-rated year ever in total viewers in the history of the show, and is up the most out of all Sunday public affair programs with total viewers (up 28%).
