BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Meketa Investment Group, a global investment consulting firm, is pleased to announce that it has expanded its employee ownership to include seven new shareholders. Principals Alla Barskaya, Paul Cowie, Henry Jaung, Nancy LaBier, Mary Mustard, Lisa Rubin and Alli Wallace have joined the firm’s ownership group.

Alla Barskaya, CPA, serves as the firm’s Director of Finance. Ms. Barskaya received a master’s degree in Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Moscow University in Russia. She recently earned an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from the MIT Sloan School of Management and is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and of MA Society of CPAs. She joined the firm’s Boston office in 2007.
Paul F. Cowie, III, serves as a consultant on various defined benefit, defined contribution and health and welfare funds for public, Taft-Hartley, and corporate plan sponsors. Mr. Cowie received a bachelor’s degree in Economics, with a minor in Political Science, from Bucknell University. He joined the firm’s Boston office in 2005 and relocated to the San Diego office in 2006.
Henry Jaung serves as a consultant and advisor on various defined benefit and health and welfare funds for Taft-Hartley and public funds. Mr. Jaung studied Mathematics at Columbia University and received a bachelor’s in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Albany. He joined the firm’s Boston office in 2010.
Nancy LaBier, SPHR®, serves as the firm’s Director of Human Resources. Ms. LaBier received a master’s degree in Management from Lesley University. She holds the SPHR® Certification and is a member of the Northeast Human Resources Association and the Society for Human Resources Management. She joined the firm’s Boston office in 2008.
Mary Mustard, CFA, serves as a consultant on defined benefit, annuity, health and welfare and investment funds for public, Taft-Hartley and not-for-profit plan sponsors. Ms. Mustard received a master’s in Business Administration with honors and a bachelor’s in Finance and Economics from Bentley University. She joined the firm’s Boston office in 2010.
Lisa Rubin serves as the firm’s Director of Marketing and Communications and leads the firm’s marketing efforts, request for proposal process and new business initiatives. Ms. Rubin received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Applied Actuarial Mathematics from Bryant University. She joined the firm’s Boston office in 2010.
Alexandra Wallace, CFA, serves as a consultant on various Taft-Hartley defined benefit, defined contribution, annuity and health and welfare funds. She also works with public retirement systems in Illinois and Massachusetts. Ms. Wallace received a bachelor’s degree in Economics and French from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She joined the firm’s Boston office in 2008 and relocated to the Chicago office in 2016.
The expanded ownership increases the number of Meketa Investment Group shareholders to 27.
