MISSISSAUGA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--You’ve seen one public restroom, you’ve seen them all, right? Wrong! Cintas Canada, Ltd. is looking for the best place to go when you really gotta go.
Nominations are now being accepted for the seventh annual Canada’s Best Restroom Contest. If you’ve ever walked into a restroom with stunning stalls or incredible architectural details, then Cintas wants to hear about it.
“When a public restroom makes you stop to take a video or capture a quick selfie, it deserves to be nominated for the chance to be called Canada’s Best Restroom,” said Leslie Molin, Cintas Canada, Senior Marketing Manager. “This contest is fun and also highlights the importance of restroom maintenance in driving customer satisfaction and repeat business.”
Past winners include the recently renovated 1000 Islands Duty Free Shop in Lansdowne, Ontario, which won for its wow factor and attention to detail in both the women’s and men’s restrooms. In 2014, the Shaw Club Hotel & Spa in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario won for its five-star style, including a modern glass infinity sink and glass door technology that turned the stall doors from clear to opaque with the turn of the lock. The solid alder wood doors with privacy glass panels and sparkling Victorian style semi-flush mount chandeliers earned Valleyview Shell Super Station in Northern Alberta the top spot in 2013.
If you’re READY™ to claim this year’s title of Canada’s Best Restroom, submit your nomination today at www.bestrestroom.com/canada. The deadline is Aug. 26, 2016. Five finalists will be announced in fall 2016, based on cleanliness, visual appeal, innovation, functionality and unique design elements. The winner will receive the royal restroom treatment from Cintas with $2,500 in facility services to help maintain their award-winning restroom.
