SonicDICOM Media Viewer software enables browsing of DICOM format images
available on a local environment (i.e. CD, DVD, etc.). It offers the
distinct advantages of a simple interface together with high-speed
displaying and manipulation of images.
There is no need to install
software on the computer used, and DICOM images can be effortlessly
browsed using only a web browser. Despite being offered for free, the
DICOM viewer provides wide-ranging functionality, including a studies
list display, measuring functions, a series syncing function, a DICOM
tag information display, and more.
In addition, with SonicDICOM, a
medical image management system (PACS) provided by JIUN, SonicDICOM
Media Viewer can also be used as an auxiliary DICOM viewer, which can be
attached via the DICOMDIR export function used to distribute DICOM data
on CD or DVD.
