Sixteen winners from the early competitions that took place at eight GameStop stores on Feb. 27 gather at the newly remodeled Nintendo NY store to see who goes on to compete in the Pokémon US National Tournament (July 1-3 in Columbus, Ohio). Kids and adults alike will compete in Pokkén Tournament, a new game that launches on March 18 for Nintendo’s Wii U system. The action-packed game features Pokémon characters fighting for supremacy. | ||
Each Finals Division winner will win a Wii U system and the Pokkén Tournament game, and will also receive a travel award to the 2016 Pokémon US National Championships July 1-3 in Columbus, Ohio. Winners in Columbus will battle for a chance to advance to the 2016 Pokémon World Championships, the premiere Pokémon tournament of the year. | |||
