Cerebrum Health Centers Expands Veterans Practice in Dallas, Hires Former Navy SEAL

DALLAS--()--Cerebrum Health Centers, a leading integrative medical facility for brain health treatment and rehabilitation, today announced the addition of former U.S. Navy SEAL Thomas Dzieran as Veteran Liaison in the Dallas facility. Dzieran will serve as the primary point of contact for new veterans visiting the clinic for treatment, including helping confirm travel and lodging accommodations, completing medical and administrative paperwork and answering pre-care questions.

“With his extensive military background, Thomas understands the challenges many veterans face when they return home, making him an ideal candidate to work with those seeking help from Cerebrum,” said Jimmy Mathews, president and chief operating officer of Cerebrum. “In addition, Thomas will help us make sure more veterans are able to experience the services we offer, which have benefited hundreds of military members, including Marcus Lutrell and Matthew Bessler.”

Dzieran served 10 years as a U.S. Navy SEAL, earning a Bronze Star and Navy Achievement Medal for his service. As a Navy Special Warfare/Operations program coordinator and recruiter, Dzieran was responsible for planning, implementing and coordinating efforts to identify and train qualified candidates for the elite team.

“I am thrilled to join Cerebrum and connect with fellow veterans who are struggling with a traumatic brain injury and symptoms of post-traumatic stress,” said Dzieran.

Since leaving the Navy in 2011, Dzieran has held software engineering roles at E-Technologies Group, Patient Point and Cohesion. He is currently working towards receiving a Bachelor of Science in software development from Bellevue University.
