ANDOVER, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Omtool™, Ltd. (OMTL.PK), the trusted provider of document capture, fax and workflow technology solutions, today announced the debut of its new Client Technology Advisory Council (CTAC), a group comprised of Omtool clients and partners in the legal industry.
As Vendor Sponsor of CTAC, Omtool will provide a forum for a select group of advisors to collaborate and spawn creative solution ideas based on common legal firm environments and related technology challenges. A subset of each quarterly meeting will include early insight into the company’s product roadmap ideas for innovations in various stages of development centered around AccuRoute®, Omtool’s enterprise-class document capture and workflow platform that enables organizations to capture, process, route and store document-centric content. CTAC members will help guide new products and features that effectively solve their current and future challenges.
Comprised of IT leadership from top law firms and consultants, CTAC provides a forum for discussion issues related to document capture, fax and workflow as well as Omtool-specific development and support priorities. Initial topics to be addressed include mobility, security, convergence of document and records management, production capture (records scanning), cost recovery and workflow systems. Fundamentally, the Council will focus and address all things document related.
According to CTAC member David Roden, Director of Technology at Goodell DeVries Leech & Dann, LLP, “I am a longtime client of Omtool and am honored to be part of their Client Technology Advisory Council. Their software solutions have always been superior and I appreciate the opportunity to have early access to their technology and knowing that my input is valued by the leadership team at Omtool.”
David Shafiee, Director of Legal Solutions at Omtool, remarked, “We are extremely proud to launch Omtool’s first-ever Client Technology Advisory Council. Feedback from our clients and partners is crucially important to our development and technical support endeavors. We expect that CTAC will achieve a new level of communication and collaboration with our customers. This initiative is a ‘win-win’ because with input from CTAC, Omtool’s product roadmap will better reflect clients’ needs. CTAC contributions will challenge our team to communicate more and creatively approach problem solving.”
