Magellan Health Employees to Host 14th Annual Trivia Night in Support of the BJC Wings Pediatric Hospice Program

ST. LOUIS--()--Magellan Health, Inc. (NASDAQ: MGLN) announced that its St. Louis-based employees will host their 14th annual Trivia Night to benefit the BJC Wings Pediatric Hospice Program on Saturday, February 27, 2016. The Magellan Cares Foundation, a nonprofit charitable organization with the mission to improve the health and wellbeing of the lives and communities Magellan Health serves, will also lend its support to the event in the form of a $2,500 check to the BJC Wings Pediatric Hospice Program.

Throughout the night, teams of eight will work together to answer trivia questions in categories such as history, movies, current events, music, sports and more. In addition, participants have the chance to take home as much as $1,000 in cash prizes. Gift baskets and packages donated by Magellan employees and community vendors will be offered in a silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle will be offered.

Since its inception, the volunteer-run Trivia Night has grown to become one of the largest events of its kind in the St. Louis area, drawing around 600 attendees every year. In September, Magellan employees sponsor a Charity Golf Tournament that also supports the BJC Wings Pediatric Hospice Program. Over the past 13 years, Magellan Health employees have raised over $395,000 for the organization through the annual Trivia Night and Charity Golf Tournament.
