TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SHOP.CA today announced that American ecommerce veteran, Tony Chvala, has joined SHOP.CA as Chief Executive Officer, following his appointment to the Board this past summer.
A highly accomplished U.S. ecommerce executive, Tony has global experience across all retail categories for Fortune 500 corporations and has proven himself to be a transformational leader that has deep history building businesses to extraordinary heights. He brings his knowledge of e-commerce, merchandising strategy, private label and product innovations having worked at Amazon.com, Groupon and Sears, to name a few. Beyond achieving impressive large company growth, Tony is a serial entrepreneur as the Co-founder and Board Chairman of Wellala Inc., the developer of PrintMagic. Established in 2009, it is one of the first wireless printing software applications ever developed.
