“This year’s Innovation Sandbox Contest saw a record number of submissions representing an incredibly competitive group,” said Sandra Toms, vice president and curator for RSA Conference. “It’s inspiring each year to see the strength in submissions as it demonstrates how cybersecurity professionals are collaborating to present innovative solutions to help businesses protect themselves. These start-ups represent an elite group, and RSA Conference is thrilled to be able to provide them an opportunity to showcase their product to the cybersecurity community.”

“Technology innovation has always been critical to the security industry, and is even more important now as we continue to see the trend of high-level security breaches creep into areas not traditionally prone to attack like entertainment,” said Alexandra Ames, Senior Marketing Manager, TechCrunch. “We’re looking forward to this year’s finalists’ presentations to see what new techniques will be brought to the stage to help transform information security and help individuals, enterprises and organizations alike keep their data safe.”
