ZTE Updates Free Two-Year Protection Plan for Axon Smartphones

Axon Passport 2.0 covers unlimited out of warranty repairs and assists with replacements and upgrades

RICHARDSON, Texas--()--ZTE USA, the fourth largest smartphone supplier in the U.S. and second largest in the no-contract market*, today announced Axon Passport 2.0, an updated consumer assurance and support program provided free for its Axon smartphones. Along with all the great benefits from the original Axon Passport 1.0 program, Axon Passport 2.0 now includes unlimited out of warranty repairs and total assistance that supports device upgrades, replacement, shipping, and setup.

In total ZTE has pushed the boundaries for providing a premium level of support to match the premium level of specifications of its Axon series smartphones.

Unlimited Out of Warranty Repairs

The free two-year protection plan now covers repairs outside of the manufacturer warranty such as the all too common scenario of water damage or a cracked screen. There is no limit on the number of requests made for out of warranty repairs.

Total Assistance

Upgrade Assistance: Any consumer wishing to upgrade from an unlocked ZTE device to an Axon phone can apply up to a $100 credit to use towards their purchase.

Replacement Assistance: ZTE will issue a $100 credit towards a replacement Axon phone that was lost or stolen during international travel.

Free Shipping: With Axon Passport 2.0 shipping replacement or repaired devices is free.

Set Up Service: Consumers who purchase Axon from zteusa.com receive support to seamlessly migrate to files, applications and content on their new Axon phone.
