Both winners use data from ETO and Apricot software to inform their decision-making, and work to make a difference in the lives of the people they serve.
The ETO Superstar Award winner, Jessica Galati, is a lead career coach that works with young adults between the ages of 17 and 24 at Henkels and McCoy. She is responsible for “cradle to grave” case management, recruiting, enrolling, and serving her participants on a continuous basis. Jessica encourages young people to become active participants in their workforce development plan, rather than just recipients of workforce programming. Jessica works hard every day because she loves her job and the youth she serves. As one of her participants said recently, “If it wasn’t for Ms. Jessica, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
The Apricot Superstar Award winner, RoxAnne Simonson, is the lead placement specialist at Wedl Placement Services, and one of the top service workers at her organization. RoxAnne analyzes data from Apricot, like a low score in a mock interview exercise, and then determines where she needs to focus her efforts. “RoxAnne is a difference maker, possessing a unique ability to motivate people by helping them realize the value that they have to offer employers. She makes a positive impact in the lives of people every day,” according to her manager John Wedl.
