Time Warner Cable Introduces New Free Holiday On Demand Content Including "Yule Dogs", "Festive Recipes", "New Year's Eve Countdown" and More

NEW YORK--()--Back by popular demand… the 2015 Yule Log. However, this year in addition to enjoying the ever-so-popular glowing fireplace videos, Time Warner Cable customers will have a variety of new festive holiday content to choose from on Free Movies on Demand and on Local on Demand through Jan. 2, 2016.*

Among the new videos available on Free Movies on Demand are “Yule Dogs” and “Purrfect Gift”, each 20-minute video features a group of adorable furry puppies dressed in Santa hats and kittens as they play around with holiday ornaments and gifts, all set to traditional holiday music. To access these videos, in addition to other classics like the Yule Log and Hanukkah Menorah, customers can click on the “Yule Log” category on the Free Movies on Demand channel.

In addition to the holiday videos available on Free Movies on Demand, customers will have access to over 40 family-friendly holiday flicks like Miracle on 34th Street, The Santa Clause, Elf, Home Alone, and A Christmas Carol for purchase on Movies On Demand. Customers can access the collection by tuning to the Movies On Demand channel, clicking “Enjoy Better” and selecting “Holidays”. The Holidays category will be available through Jan. 4, 2016. Customers can also get in the festive spirit from the comfort of their couch by checking out Time Warner Cable’s Local on Demand for the latest scenes from the awe-inspiring 2015 “Holiday Windows” featuring famous New York City department stores including Bergdorf Goodman, Henri Bendel, and Barney’s. In addition, Local On Demand will showcase an assortment of local celebrations, best baking tips and cookie recipes for Hanukkah, Christmas and more during this holiday season. Customers can access the full list of seasonal content category by visiting Local On Demand channel 1020 and then clicking on “Holiday”. All videos and movies are available in SD and/or HD. The traditional Yule Log on Free Movies On Demand is also available in 3D.

*The Hanukkah Menorah will be available on Free Movies on Demand and will light up starting December 6th, the first day of the Festival of Lights. As per tradition, with each night another candle will be added until the eighth night on Dec. 13. The New Year’s Eve Countdown will be available Dec. 26 – Jan. 2, 2016.
