MONTEREY PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SynerMed, Inc., a market-leading healthcare platform for government-sponsored healthcare programs in Monterey Park, California, announced today that Renée Delphin-Rodriguez has joined the organization as the new General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors, she will oversee the company’s legal, regulatory affairs and compliance functions.
Ms. Delphin-Rodriguez brings with her a wealth of experience advising companies on significant corporate transactions, governance, compliance, risk management and audit matters. She joins SynerMed from DaVita HealthCare Partners, a Fortune 500 healthcare services company, where she advised HealthCare Partners on acquisitions, joint ventures and new market expansion as well as on operational, contracting and regulatory matters. In 2012, she represented HealthCare Partners in its $4.4 billion sale to DaVita. She previously worked as a corporate attorney at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

SynerMed’s General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer appointments are the latest additions to the organization’s executive leadership team. Last month, the company named Timothy Spillane as its Chief Financial Officer.
