Data Strategy and boice.net sign Partnership Agreement

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.--()--Data Strategy and boice.net announced today the development of a strategic partnership that will benefit datacenter clients across the greater Midwest.

Now in the due diligence phase, Data Strategy and boice.net expect to consummate the partnership by Nov. 30, 2015. The resulting collaboration will create one of the Midwest’s largest datacenter consulting organizations, with 170 employees – more than 60 of which are engineering focused -- and six offices in four states: Troy, Mich., Indianapolis, Louisville, Lexington, Ky., Cincinnati and headquarters in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Customers will benefit from expanded expertise in key industries such as government, education, financial, health care, and retail. Customers also will have access to greater resources and skill sets across all datacenter technologies and markets.

“The strength of our new partnership will be an enhanced customer experience through solution integration and support,” said Dana Jacks, President of Data Strategy. “By working together within all of our geographies, we see great synergy to drive service breadth and market expansion. This partnership will create one of the Midwest’s leading providers of advanced technical consulting services.”

Each organization will benefit greatly from the other’s Platinum- and Gold-level certification status with key OEM vendors: Data Strategy is a Platinum partner of VMware and a Gold / Direct partner with EMC; boice.net is a Gold partner with Cisco.

“We expect the boice.net customer base to benefit from economies of scale that the Data Strategy relationship brings,” said Bill Hall, CEO of boice.net. “At the same time, Data Strategy’s customers will benefit from key specialties of boice.net, like our Network Operations Center and our multiple Cisco Advanced Architecture specializations. Together, the two companies will continue to deliver leading-edge technology solutions built on integrity, responsiveness, and commitment to our customers.

The Data Strategy and boice.net leadership teams will remain intact, and the organizations will continue to operate as they do today. The exceptions to this rule will be focused specifically on leveraging attributes of Data Strategy and boice.net that expand and strengthen the capabilities of the other partner organization in its local markets.
