Cintell Surpasses 350 Users, Signaling a Shift toward Customer-Centric B2B Marketing

BOSTON--()--Today, SaaS customer intelligence company Cintell announced it has surpassed 350 users just months following the launch of its SmartPersonaTM Customer Intelligence Platform. This growth was supported in Q3 by an expanded team, new strategic partnerships and the completion of premium product features, all ensuring the company enters Q4 with strong momentum.

The announcement indicates a shift within the B2B marketing industry as marketers are reprioritizing the role of customer insights within their business. In a study conducted by the ITSMA, B2B marketers worldwide expect that understanding buyers will be their #1 responsibility in 2016. Global B2B research and advisory firm SiriusDecisions also found that 60% of B2B organizations admit they don’t understand their buyers.

In addition to product development traction, the company also announced the addition of Chingiz Kabytayev, PhD as data scientist, responsible for enhancing the Cintell platform with external data insights to enable stronger understanding of target audiences from a variety of sources. Kabytayev is an alumnus of the Georgia Institute of Technology and Fellow of the Data Science program.

“It’s critical for our marketing to be guided by buyers as we strive to serve and delight them,” said Sonian Director of Product Marketing Sue Imhoff. “I’m excited to work with Cintell to manage, enhance, and put these insights to use to increase our effectiveness across the business.”

“The traction is fantastic,” said Cintell CEO and co-founder Apparao Karri. “Marketers signing up for the tool are forerunners in the inevitable shift towards customer-centric business strategy. Our growth only demonstrates the willingness of the marketing industry to put the buyer at the center of their process by operationalizing buyer persona insights.”

The company has also partnered with B2B marketing agencies to enhance their client deliverables in the area of persona development. "Cintell's persona management platform allows our clients to realize higher value from the critical persona insights we discover," said Todd Davison, CEO of Demand Frontier, a leading provider of global professional services. "We are excited to be working with Cintell to help our clients execute customer-centric marketing initiatives.”

Cintell CMO and co-founder Katie Martell recently spoke at the MarketingProfs B2B Forum, an event attracting hundreds of B2B marketers to Boston. Martell also presented at TedX Somerville on the topic of customer-centricity. The company was also recognized as a favorite new product at October’s Mass Innovation Night, and a finalist in the MassChallenge accelerator program fall 2015 program.

Cintell users to-date have seen significant value by converting static buyer personas into a centralized knowledge base of customer insights in the cloud. Personas are published in a cloud-based format aptly named SmartPersonasTM that allow for continual maintenance and sharing throughout the business.

Free access to the SmartPersonaTM Customer Intelligence Platform has now ended, and new users will have access to a 15-day trial. With a paid Cintell subscription, users can:

  • Integrate SmartPersonasTM into marketing automation and CRM tools, enabling persona-based sales and marketing
  • Enhance personas with professional insights harnessed from a wide variety of external data sources
  • Distribute related marketing and sales enablement resources by persona across organizational silos
