CHICAGO & AUSTIN--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Chief Learning Officer magazine, published by Human Capital Media (HCM), the largest integrated media company in the human resources industry, announced the winners of its 15th annual Learning In Practice awards at a recognition ceremony last night preceding the Fall 2015 Chief Learning Officer Symposium in Austin, Texas.
The annual awards recognize outstanding enterprise education leaders, departments and vendors who have developed and implemented exemplary learning and development programs that produce measurable results for their companies.

Awards were presented in more than 16 categories including business impact, collaboration, global learning, innovation, strategy, technology, trailblazer, academic partnerships, blended technology, community service, learning content, e-learning, gaming and simulations, and social learning.

The night’s most prestigious award, CLO of the Year, went to Kimo Kippen, chief learning officer at Hilton Worldwide. After joining the company in 2010, Kippen launched Hilton Worldwide University to deliver training and development opportunities to employees at all levels from corporate headquarters to Hilton’s 4,200 hotels, resorts and time-share properties in 93 countries.
The judges, who included past winners of the CLO of the Year awards, recognized Kippen for his combination of strategic vision, focus on execution and ongoing commitment to the advancement of the industry.
Other award winners included learning leaders from a wide range of industries and companies including Southwest Airlines, General Motors and Xerox, among others.
