SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apsalar, a global leader in mobile data management and mobile app measurement, today announced a partnership with Crosswise, a leading provider of cross-device identification mapping.
Under the agreement, Apsalar will offer cross-device matching as a service for its Mobile DMP clients. Through the partnership, Apsalar Mobile DMP clients will be able to use the Crosswise device map as a tool to link the mobile-app-, mobile-web- and PC-web-data of millions more consumers to create true cross-device profiles and deliver “360-degree customer insights”.
“Apsalar and Crosswise share a passion for helping clients understand their customers completely,” said Michael Oiknine, Cofounder and CEO of Apsalar. “We’re delighted to work with Crosswise to empower our clients to get richer insights and drive more effective future marketing initiatives and messaging.”
Rapid and dramatic changes in consumer behavior are driving many sophisticated marketing organizations to demand comprehensive behavioral insights on their customers – insights that encompass what they do in mobile apps, the mobile web, and on the PC web. With sources including comScore showing that more than half of digital consumer time takes place on smartphones, being able to connect a person’s mobile and PC behaviors has become increasingly critical to driving brand growth.
Crosswise is among the largest consumer cross-device identification services in the world, using a combination of deterministic data and probabilistic Big Data analysis to deliver outstanding accuracy and scale. Crosswise’s unique technology links the multiple connected devices used by a single consumer, without storing any personally identifiable information. Linking a consumer’s various devices, from among billions of different devices, allows companies to shift their advertising, retargeting, content personalization and marketing analytics from being device-focused to being person-focused. The results include improved online experiences for consumers, dramatically improved marketing ROI for advertisers, and more valuable ad space and audience segments for publishers.
“We created Crosswise to provide the most authoritative source of cross-device identification data to brands and publishers,” said Crosswise CEO and Cofounder Steve Glanz. “We’re pleased to be working with Apsalar to help brands better understand and reflect customer needs in the ways that they engage consumers.”
