(www.fanduel.com), the largest one-day fantasy sports operator, today announced the acquisition of numberFire, the leading next generation sports analytics platform that uses proprietary statistics to mine for unprecedented insights that predict player and team performance. numberFire’s editorial team publishes the data on their website, while the company’s analytics and tools are available to sports fans through subscriptions and media companies through licensing. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

numberFire’s site will remain operational and FanDuel will invest in growing the company's preexisting revenue streams, while numberFire's proprietary information will eventually be incorporated into FanDuel's platform to increase user engagement and expand on product offerings for users.
