certain vulnerabilities and ultimately saves web applications from
subtle, yet impactful vulnerabilities.

Who/What: In this briefing
session, Mark Baseggio, managing principal consultant, will co-present a
demonstration on how to defeat access controls using an RFID skimmer
called BLEKey. This new open-source hardware device is designed to be
embedded in an RFID reader to exploit the Wiegand communication protocol
used by the majority of access control systems today. Session attendees
will learn how this new tool can be valuable for understanding the risks
associated with insecure access controls and what steps companies can
take to lower the risk of access control attacks.
