Mr. Welch becomes a member of the firm’s prominent Trademark Group, where his decades of experience leading patent, trademark, copyright prosecution and litigation matters across the country will benefit Wolf Greenfield’s world-class clients.
Mr. Welch is a frequent author and lecturer on trademark law, and particularly on the procedure and jurisprudence of the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is the founder and publisher of The TTABlog, one of the longest running and most respected trademark-focused blogs. In addition, he has won numerous awards for contributions to his field and client success, including being named to World Trademark Review 1000 – The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals 2012-2015 as well as one of New England’s “Super Lawyers” in the field of intellectual property 2004-2014. Prior to joining Wolf Greenfield, he served as counsel in the Trademark and Copyright Group at the law firm Lando & Anastasi.
