GTxcel Announces Executive Promotions: Matthew McGinty Named Chief Operating Officer and Bryan Dunn Named Chief Technology Officer

BOSTON--()--GTxcel, a leader in digital publishing solutions, announced today that Matthew McGinty has been named COO and Bryan Dunn CTO, respectively.

As the new COO, McGinty will be primarily focused on growing revenue, retaining customers and overseeing all operational rigor and metrics for which successful SaaS companies are measured. Matt leads all Go-to-Market strategy, Operational execution and departmental oversight of: Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Account Development and Account Management. His duties include Channel Sales and Strategic Partnerships for the Unified Publishing Platform. In addition, Matt has departmental oversight of Client Services including: Professional Services, Project Management, Production, Support and Solution Architecture.

As the new CTO, Dunn will be primarily focused on delivery against New Go-to-Market strategy and New Product Vision. He will lead the Product and Engineering teams that have recently set a record for new product delivery in a six-month period. Bryan’s accolades include two major releases: Turnstyle and GTxcel for Wordpress. He will continue to redefine how Product is envisioned and delivered at GTxcel; continuing our migration away from a Product company to a Platform company that values automation and scale over curation and antiquated manual workflows.

Matthew McGinty’s Background

Matthew McGinty has over 15 years of experience working with media and enterprise customers in SaaS and traditional software environments. Since joining in early 2014, Matt has grown the business over 150%. He has implemented key SaaS KPI’s and operational vigor that set the company up for long-term success with customers and investors alike. Matt comes to GTxcel from RAMP Holdings, Inc. where he was VP of Sales Strategy and Client Operations. His specialties include publishing, mobile, advertising, video, enterprise search, and eCommerce. McGinty has worked with a “who’s who” list of media companies and has also been a successful entrepreneur. McGinty holds his MBA from Western New England University and BSBA in Management and Computer Information Systems from Western New England University.

Bryan Dunn’s Background

Prior to joining GTxcel in 2007, Bryan worked at Raytheon where he led the development of an integration platform for the Zumwalt Class Destroyer. Bryan is an expert in Lean principles and Agile development and holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Computer Science. Since taking over the Product and Engineering teams over a year ago, GTxcel has delivered over 300% more Product and completely transitioned GTxcel from a Product company to a robust Unified Publishing Platform (UPP) for anyone who publishes content. He’s a Product visionary who focuses on practical use cases for simplifying publishing workflows for Fortune 5,000 companies and Publishers alike.
