HealthSpot Grows Executive Team with Healthcare, Pharmacy & IT Veterans

Dr. Gail Borgatti Croall named HealthSpot’s new Chief Medical Officer alongside new Chief Technology Officer, Eric Eichensehr and new Chief Operating Officer, Bruce Roberts.

DUBLIN, Ohio--()--HealthSpot Inc., a pioneer in patient and provider-driven healthcare technology, is excited to announce the expansion of senior leadership with the addition of three experienced and innovative professionals to fill the roles of Chief Medical Officer, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Joining HealthSpot® founder and CEO Steve Cashman on the executive team, Dr. Gail Borgatti Croall, MD, Eric Eichensehr and Bruce Roberts all bring years of leadership experience along with extensive knowledge of the healthcare IT and pharmacy sector.

Dr. Borgatti Croall comes to HealthSpot with over 12 years of leadership roles in managing population health for large national managed care companies and statewide health plans for Commercial, Healthcare Exchange and Medicaid populations. She has previously served as Senior Vice President and CMO for Anthem, Inc., OptumHealth, a UnitedHealth company, and National Medical Director at CareSource.

Dr. Borgatti Croall’s vast range of experience in the healthcare field is supplemented by her involvement in several nationally recognized organizations. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for both the Visiting Nurse Association of Southwest Ohio and The Emily Program, and is on the Cognitive Scale Advisory Board. Dr. Borgatti Croall’s drive to improve the quality and continuity of care will be vital as HealthSpot moves forward into new segments.

A veteran of the healthcare IT industry with more than 30 years of experience, Eric Eichensehr also brings a wealth of capabilities and knowledge to HealthSpot as the Chief Technology Officer. He has worked with senior staff and C-suite executives in a variety of roles at major organizations such as Microsoft, General Electric, Cisco Systems, and Intel just to name a few. His experience with consumer-facing software across various operating platforms, paired with a proven forward-looking vision for bringing emerging technology to scale, makes him an ideal executive for the HealthSpot team.

Moving forward, Eichensehr will oversee all aspects of product development, support and quality assurance for HealthSpot’s telemedicine station. He will manage the development of a software platform to integrate medical records and medical devices to stream medical data between patients and providers. He will also ensure that HealthSpot’s technology initiatives match up with business goals and market requirements.

Bruce Roberts has devoted his professional life to the advancement of community pharmacy and pharmacist-centered patient care. As the founder and owner of four pharmacies, he will bring a unique perspective and firsthand experience that will be crucial as HealthSpot moves into retail pharmacies. During his tenure as the CEO of the National Community Pharmacist Association (NCPA), Roberts co-founded SureScripts, a company focused on facilitating the connection between prescribers and pharmacies for the provision of electronic prescribing.
