Galen Heathcare Solutions to Support PinpointCare as VAR of its Transformative Coordinated Care Platform

CHICAGO--()--Galen Healthcare Solutions, a high-quality, expert-level healthcare consulting-services company, announced today that it is collaborating with PinpointCare, a pioneering coordinated healthcare company, as a Value-Added-Reseller of its one-of-a-kind platform for patient engagement, care coordination and management.

Sales of the PinpointCare platform will be bundled with Galen’s offerings, which includes a full suite of professional and technical healthcare IT consulting services.

An affordable, secure, cloud-based platform hosted in Microsoft’s Azure cloud, the PinpointCare platform is designed to facilitate ongoing communication between members of the care team in settings other than physicians’ offices. Its secure platform enables patients to create customized care plans that makes it possible for them to monitor their health status, assess risk and reduce time to recovery.

Galen is a best of class services organization with a proven methodology and more than 300 successful application implementations, including extensive experience in the deployment of electronic health records, data migration, project management, and custom application development.

The PinpointCare platform, which was created with substantial assistance from Galen, has been designed to fill the gap created by the transition from fee for service to fee for value. It delivers constant coordination across disparate providers and systems, enables 24/7 patient access, real-time patient and partner monitoring, and interoperability with existing IT systems.

In addition, the platform includes bundled payments for BPCI and commercial payers, care plans for episodic encounters, and CMS model 2 and 3 BPCI programs. Enhancements to the platform, for which Galen provided coding, will include bundled payments, ACO, and shared savings.

Galen’s development team was essential to the platform’s latest release. Now that PinpointCare is being adopted by a rapidly increasing number of provider groups, trust and confidence in the plan is vital but leadership from both companies are confident customers will be reassured by the intuitive nature of the platform and the ways it can help their practices.
