Fruit Logistica 2015: "My Energy" – Dole Provides Insights into New Consumer Campaign for 2015

HAMBURG, Germany--()--With "Dole Earth", Dole has set new marketing standards in recent years that go far beyond the quality and taste of its products. Building on that success, Dole Europe is launching “My Energy” in 2015, an innovative campaign keyed to the theme of energy and promoting a healthy, high-energy lifestyle among consumers. The campaign will be featured on Dole’s stand at Fruit Logistica which will revolve around the theme of energy.

Dole Foods is owned and headed by the visionary, entrepreneur David Murdock who was driven by a passion to research and communicate the health benefits of fruit and vegetables when he established the North Carolina Research Campus (NCRC) in 2005. Today some 300 scientists from 8 top research universities are engaged in projects focusing on human health, nutrition and agriculture there. Dole also researches on the campus under its own name through the Dole Nutrition Institute. Dole scientists are conducting research projects to show how the nutrients in fruit and vegetables influence people's health, capabilities and aging processes. Murdock is taking their conclusions to heart himself. His formula for a long and fulfilling life: eat healthily, exercise regularly and pursue a goal in life. The trade fair stand will feature a film that perfectly captures Murdock's vision and presents them in the context of his research initiatives and philosophy. And the energy theme is sustained throughout the stand, e.g. with a smoothie bar where visitors can replenish their energy levels and a "Top up on Energy" station where they can recharge the batteries in their mobile devices.

The campaign will begin with a promotion for consumers in the second quarter of 2015. “My Energy” will communicate the results of the research projects conducted at NCRC and the benefits of an energy-filled and rewarding lifestyle.
