The twenty-six CAPP members are committed to providing Americans with access to coordinated healthcare that is convenient and available. As integrated medical groups, they are dedicated to the following five principles for improved healthcare delivery:

  • Doctors and medical groups actively coordinate the healthcare services patients need.
  • Doctors work as partners in maintaining patients’ health by taking a proactive and preventive approach to healthcare.
  • There is good teamwork between the primary care doctors, specialists and the doctor’s supporting staff.
  • Doctors and the medical staff are up to date in clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Doctors’ practices use information technologies including electronic medical records that allow the doctor and medical team to provide the best care possible.

Members of CAPP include large medical groups such as the Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Geisinger Clinic, Henry Ford Medical Group, Intermountain Healthcare, The Permanente Federation and others.
