Codeship Continuous Delivery Service Now Integrated with AWS CodeDeploy

Codeship and Amazon Web Services customers will have greater flexibility and increased productivity through AWS CodeDeploy

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--()--Codeship, the simplest Continuous Delivery platform, today announced that its service is now integrated with AWS CodeDeploy, a fully managed, high-scale deployment service from Amazon Web Services that lets developers quickly and simply automate the process of deploying and updating applications. Codeship’s integration with AWS CodeDeploy provides customers with a greater level of flexibility for how they build their AWS infrastructure, while still implementing a strong testing and deployment process.

“AWS CodeDeploy targets a need we see with our customers who want to have standardized processes for testing and delivery and the flexibility of building infrastructure on AWS that exactly fits their needs,” said Florian Motlik, CTO and co-founder, Codeship. “We’re excited to integrate with AWS CodeDeploy and to continue working with AWS to release more AWS integrations to combine the productivity and ease-of-use of hosting on AWS with Codeship’s strong, well-defined and battle-tested delivery system.”

Codeship is integrated with AWS CodeDeploy and provides customers with a strong Continuous Delivery process from the start. Codeship users can quickly and easily set up continuous integration in just a few steps and automatically deploy to AWS CodeDeploy when all their tests have passed. Codeship supports a wide range of languages and test frameworks and works with GitHub and BitBucket.

Founded in 2011, Codeship was built with the mission of allowing companies of all sizes to stay at the same agile development pace as major Internet companies, while keeping costs down and productivity high. With the philosophy of “building for the builders,” Codeship turns a manual release into an automated one by making it easy for developers to test and deploy new software. To start, users can sign up for Codeship’s Freemium plan, which allows for 100 free builds a month and five private projects. Ideal for small teams, startups and freelancers, this allows users to experience the company’s full set of software deployment features before moving to the next level.
