HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lionstone Investments, a privately owned real estate investment firm that specializes in conceptualizing, researching, and executing national investment strategies on behalf of institutional investors and high net worth individuals, announced the appointment of Andrew J. Bruce as chief financial officer effective October 15, 2014. Mr. Bruce brings over 20 years of experience in real estate finance to Lionstone, including years of experience overseeing real estate investment trusts (REIT).
Mr. Bruce served most recently as the CFO for two public non-listed REITs advised by Behringer Harvard, a real estate investment firm. He also headed the capital markets group for the Behringer platform from 2006 to 2012. Between 1994 and early 2006, Mr. Bruce worked for AMLI Residential Properties Trust in Dallas and Chicago, beginning his career there as a property accountant and later working as a corporate accountant.

Mr. Bruce graduated from the University of Chicago with an MBA and a CPA designation. He is currently affiliated with the associations ULI (Full Member and Urban Revitalization council officer), NAREIT, and Family Gateway Affordable Housing, Inc.
