Wells Fargo Shareowner Services Rated Industry’s Top Transfer Agent Five Years Running

MINNEAPOLIS--()--Wells Fargo Shareowner Services, part of Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC), has received the industry’s highest satisfaction rating from corporate customers of U.S. security transfer agents, according to a recent study by GROUP FIVE. This year’s study marks the fifth consecutive year Wells Fargo has received the highest rating. The survey includes ratings from 907 corporations, representing more than 28 million registered shareowners, on security transfer agents throughout the United States. Client loyalty is measured as Net Promoter Score (NPS) this year for the first time. The NPS industry-wide is 50 and Wells Fargo has the highest NPS at 65.

Among large agents, Wells Fargo received a 94% favorable rating overall and was rated highest in satisfaction for shareholder service, data security and protection and issuer service, which align with the issues of greatest concern to all issuers.

In this year’s study, Wells Fargo received the industry’s highest ratings across categories including: accuracy and clarity of forms and letters sent to shareholders, access to reports, knowledge and guidance, record-keeping accuracy and telephone service for shareholders.
