CBTS Advanced Cyber Security Earns the NSA's Prestigious Cyber Incident Response Accreditation

CINCINNATI--()--CBTS, a leading technology solutions provider, today announced that its Advanced Cyber Security division has earned the National Security Agency’s (NSA) Cyber Incident Response Assistance (CIRA) certification. The NSA uses this new accreditation to show that they have vetted the people, policies, and procedures of an organization and declared them to be the state-of-the-art capabilities needed for rapid cyber security support to high-level government agencies.

The NSA developed a defense strategy to leverage the cyber expertise of the private sector. CIRA is part of this newly formed strategic initiative called the National Security Cyber Assistance Program, or NSCAP. It was designed to accredit qualified private-sector organizations with the ability to handle national security systems.

Even though this accreditation enables CBTS Advanced Cyber Security to assist government agencies, it also demonstrates the team’s ability to deliver the highest quality incident response services to all business sectors. To become a CIRA qualified organization, CBTS Advanced Cyber Security must be able to provide consistently effective incident response, intrusion detection, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing services. They were evaluated against 21 critical focus areas for response assistance services as defined by the NSA.

"The CIRA accreditation from the NSA signifies the incredible talent and capabilities of our team,” said Brian Minick, VP of CBTS Advanced Cyber Security. "It demonstrates that our philosophy of Intelligent Analysis and Adaptive Defense is proven and consistently effective."

Joining this short list of accredited organizations, CBTS Advanced Cyber Security plans to continue its industry leadership and help its clients Win Every Attack. For more information, contact us at 1-866-587-2287.
