FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Celebrating over 40 years in practice, the law firm of Colodny, Fass, Talenfeld, Karlinsky, Abate & Webb will streamline its name to “Colodny Fass,” effective October 31, 2014, Managing Partner Mike Colodny announced. The Firm’s Internet address will be www.ColodnyFass.com as of that date.
The move comes as Colodny Fass expands in size, reflecting the integral role it has played in its clients’ many business expansions throughout Florida and the United States.
Colodny Fass will continue to focus on its fundamental practice areas of regulation and compliance, administrative law, governmental relations and complex commercial litigation. Managing Litigation Shareholder Maria Elena Abate continues to lead the Firm’s Insurance Litigation, Appellate Practice and Employment Law division.

Recently, several prominent lawyers and former insurance regulators have joined the Firm, including Wes Strickland, a nationally known attorney who will lead Colodny Fass' hallmark Insurance Regulatory and Compliance practice from its Tallahassee office. National insurance authority G. Donovan Brown will also join Colodny Fass in December 2014 after serving as Senior Governmental Counsel for the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America. They will team with former Florida Chief Financial Officer and Insurance Commissioner Tom Gallagher and Claude Mueller, the former Florida Office of Insurance Regulation Director of Property and Casualty.
