PLANO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Affiliated Workers Association (AWA), a national non-profit organization consisting of more than 17,000 members, including small business owners and entrepreneurs, has added a new member to the Board of Directors.
Leslie Patterson Moore comes to the Board with experience as both a practicing lawyer and as counsel for various non-profit entities. She served as counsel for Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD) for over five years and recently became the general counsel for the American College of Emergency Physicians.
“Leslie’s knowledge and experience with other non-profits will be very valuable to the association,” said Jeff Burley, vice president of AWA. “Her legal expertise will be a welcome asset to the Board.”
