Lookingglass Cyber Solutions Now Available on NETCENTS-2 Contract Vehicle

Lookingglass Expands Ability to Support U.S. Government through Threat Intelligence

ARLINGTON, Va.--()--Lookingglass Cyber Solutions, an innovator in global network situational awareness and threat intelligence management, has announced that its solutions are now available through the Network-Centric Solutions-2 (NETCENTS-2) Netcentric Products Contract Vehicle as part of its continued partnership with immixGroup. This development will allow Lookingglass to serve the security, threat and risk operations needs of the U.S. Air Force and other U.S. Department of Defense agencies by increasing their access to the innovative technologies required to deal with today’s cyber threats.

“Lookingglass is pleased to continue its partnership and growth with immixGroup to support the U.S. Government’s threat intelligence needs,” said Jaci Baum Vilardo, Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Sales at Lookingglass. “Government defense organizations such as the U.S. Air Force need superior threat intelligence to make the best decisions possible when it comes to the risks they face from today’s advanced cyber threats in order to support their defense missions, and the access they will now have to Lookingglass’ solutions will fortify their security operations accordingly.”

The NETCENTS-2 contracts provide the U.S. Air Force with a primary source of netcentric and IT products, services and solutions and allow the Air Force to easily contract solutions and services that support its IT mission goals. Use of the NETCENTS-2 contracts (except ITPS) is mandatory for Air Force organizations as the contracts are awarded.

With NETCENTS-2, organizations can take advantage of TAA compliant products at a better price, with no contracting fees. Further, organizations who obtain products through immixGroup also get the benefit of the company’s TS facility clearance and ability to pass through DD254s. This contract vehicle is advantageous for customers with little funding as it provides flexibility in lease transactions. In addition, other U.S. Department of Defense agencies may use the contract if the project is interoperable with U.S. Air Force systems.

Through this contract vehicle, the U.S. Air Force will also be able to take advantage of Lookingglass’ recently announced ScoutInterXect. ScoutInterXect works with Lookingglass’ flagship product, ScoutVision, to enhance security practitioners’ ability to perform risk assessment of their public and private infrastructure. ScoutInterXect’s telemetry-based threat reports arm security operations and threat intelligence teams with increased insight to characterize the level of risk they face and help them understand networks within their ecosystem that are at risk and could be leveraged as attack launch or entry points.
